Desired Project Consortium Progress Review Meeting on 14th April 2026

The DESIRED Project held a hybrid Progress Review Meeting on 14 April 2026 at MAT Abacus Business School, bringing together all partners to review implementation progress, emerging impact, key outputs, and pathways for stronger engagement and improved project outcomes.

The meeting was attended by student associations from Makerere University Business School, MAT Abacus Business School, Nnamdi Azikiwe University (NAU), Awka, Nigeria, and Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, Anambra State, Nigeria. It was also attended by European partners from ULisboa and VU Amsterdam, as well as industry partners from Sejjaaka Kaawaase & Co., Certified Public Accountants, and the Uganda Chapter for Corporate Social Responsibility Initiatives (UCCSRI).

The Project Coordinator commended all partners for the milestones achieved so far, including the draft Quality Assurance Framework, the completed Cooperation Agreement, the completed Needs Assessment Report, WIL assessment tools, the project website and social media accounts for information dissemination, and the WIL assessment portal, which is currently under improvement.

Project partners agreed to maintain the current momentum towards the realisation of the project goals and intended impact. The meeting was adjourned to a later date, to be communicated in due course.
