He is a distinguished financial expert with a robust academic background and extensive practical experience. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Accounting and Finance and a Master of Science degree in Finance, equipping him with the skills to analyse & manage financial risks and opportunities. Beyond his academic achievements, Prof. Sejjaaka is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA-U), reflecting his commitment to ethical accounting practices and his expertise in Ugandan accounting standards. He is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), a prestigious designation that recognizes his professional competence and adherence to international accounting principles. With over 25 years of experience, he has a proven track record of leading and overseeing organizations effectively. He is the Team Leader and MAT ABACUS Business School, the current Chairman of the Petroleum Revenue Investment Reserve Advisory Committee; Chairman of UAP Financial Services and a Board Member UAP Life Insurance.

Assoc. Prof. Rachel Mindra KatoroogoProject Coordinator – MUBS

She is the Deputy Principal, Makerere University Business School (MUBS), Uganda’s leading business school. She earned a PhD in Finance from Wits Business School in South Africa, an M.A. in Money, Banking & Finance from Loughborough University in the UK, and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Makerere University. Previously, she served as Head of the Finance Department and Deputy Director of the MUBS Microfinance Outreach Centre. Assoc. Prof. Mindra has spearheaded numerous strategic projects, including enterprise financing studies funded by USAID, financial management training with ILO, and youth employability initiatives with GIZ and AUDA-NEPAD. She is a board member of the Uganda Securities Exchange and an advocate for youth financial inclusion. A committed Rotarian and Paul Harris Fellow

Assoc. Prof. David KatambaProject Advisor & Stakeholder Engagement Liaison

David Katamba is an Associate Professor of Corporate Sustainability and Social Responsibility (CSR) and a World Bank Institute trained professional with over 15 years’ experience in sustainable development. He is CSR Advisor and trainer for The International Business Leaders Forum (IBLF), and Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN). Additionally, he chaired the Sales, Social & Marketing Compliance Committee (SMCC) of Nile Breweries Ltd (a subsidiary of AB InBev, Belgium) for 6½ years. He is currently coordinating a € 1,000,000 EU Erasmus+ funded project, “Strengthening Capacity for ICT Usage and Policy Reforms for Relevant and Quality master’s Research Process Management in Uganda’s Higher Education Institutions (ICT-4MRPQ, project No. 101083105). https://ict-4mrpq.uccsri.com/ He won and led implementation of several international research grants including a €300,000 Netherlands’ NWO WOTRO to implement the AGRI-QUEST project (Project No. W 08.270.317) to support global agribusiness, Food & Nutritional Security. His team also won €801,000 from EU Erasmus+ [call, EAC/A03/2016, research project No: 574218-EPP-1-2016-1-NO-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP to implement CapSEM project (2016-2019).

Christopher Wickert is Professor of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU). His research examines CSR and the broader relationship between business and society by drawing on various strands of organization and management theory. He is also affiliated with Makerere University Business School in Kampala, Uganda. Christopher’s research has appeared in journals such as Academy of Management Discoveries, Harvard Business Review, Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of Management Studies. He is currently the General Editor of Journal of Management Studies

Director of the Tropical College/ULisboa. Head of Plant Stress &Biodiversity Lab and Professor of Cell Biology and Biotechnology at ISA, ULisboa. Invited professor at Eduardo Mondlane University (Plant-Microbe Interactions and Systems Biology, master’s in biotechnology) and Gorongosa National Park (Molecular Biology, Master in Conservation Biology), Mozambique. National Contact Point of the High-Level Policy Dialogue EU/Africa – Food and Nutrition Security and Sustainable Agriculture. Main area of activity: Characterization, conservation, monitoring and management of agro-forestry resources: (i) biodiversity; (ii) plant-environment interactions; (iii) ethnobotany; (iv) human development; (v) institutional and capacity building. Prof. Twaha Kigongo Kaawaase is an accountant by profession, has lectured, regulated and practiced accounting, auditing and finance for over 30 years. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting Major) upper second degree of Makerere University, Kampala. In addition to public practice, he has served the accounting profession on the local scene as a member of the ACCA Uganda network branch. He is an active member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda and currently a member of the Uganda Public Accountants Examination Board. On the international accounting profession scene, Prof. Kaawaase joined the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC) Small and Medium Practices Committee in 2014 as a Technical Advisor

A motivator and passionate teacher, successful in guiding students to achieve greatness through positive influence on them; encouraging graduate students to join professional body of accountants; and building active teams committed to academic progress of students. Sylvester holds a B.Sc. (first class hons) in Economics from Anambra State University, an MSc and a Doctorate Degree in Economics from the University of Nigeria. He is a lecturer with the Department of Economics and Associate Director of the Research Management Office, Chuwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, possessing reputable publications and conferences to his credit. His teaching and research interests include Public Sector Economics, Environmental Economics and Energy Policy

Grace Flavia Lamuno (PhD) is a Justice of the High Court of Uganda and is the Company Secretary for Uganda Chapter for Corporate Social Responsibility Initiatives (UCCSRI) Ltd for over 16 years now. She holds a PhD in Law. She also holds an LLM and LLB from Makerere University and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from LDC. She has over fifteen years of Policy review process management, formation and implementation. She brings to this project her over twenty-one years of teaching experience at Makerere University Business School, where she was instrumental in curriculum development and is part of a team awarded a €1,000,000 EU Erasmus+ grant for improving ICT and policy reforms in Uganda’s higher education..
